Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage Shopify e-commerce stores to meet client requirements.
• Customize Shopify themes to ensure both aesthetic appeal and functional efficiency.
• Develop and implement innovative features and functionality for Shopify stores using Shopify’s Liquid programming language, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and APIs.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure web store aesthetics also incorporate effective UX/UI principles.
• Analyze e-commerce strategies and solutions to improve website performance and customer engagement.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Provide technical support to clients and team members on Shopify-related issues.
• Stay abreast of emerging Shopify trends and e-commerce strategies, applying best practices to enhance business solutions.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Conduct website performance tests and optimize for search engines.
• Handle integrations with third-party payment gateways and other APIs to enhance store functionality.
• Ensure security compliance of the online store and user data.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify stores.
• Expertise in Shopify’s Liquid code, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with Shopify theme development and customization.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce SEO practices and experience with analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Shopify’s app ecosystem and capability to integrate third-party APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
